Meet the locals at a traditional music session
Day 1: Dublin - Killarney
We leave the city and head south west into the lush green Irish countryside. Pass the River Liffey on the way to the imposing Rock of Cashel, once the seat of the Kings of Munster
Through the Golden Vale to Blarney Castle in the rebel county of Cork. Now’s your chance to give the stone a big juicy smacker to get the legendary ‘gift of the gab’. You will now realise your Guide has kissed the stone many, many times…Tonight is in the party town of Killarney.
Day 2: Killarney - Ennis
Today it’s all about breath-taking scenery and adventure. We spend the day exploring the dramatic Dingle Peninsula and we take you to the edge of the ancient world
We stop at the stunning Coumeennole Beach then on through Tralee until we cross the mighty Shannon River to County Clare. We spend the night in Ennis where the pubs are filled with locals playing traditional Irish music
Day 3: Ennis - Dublin
Today we brave the heights and soak up the dramatic views at the Cliffs of Moher that tower high above the wild Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, we’ll explore the weird and magical world of the Burren, Ireland’s lunar landscape and home to fairies and leprechauns
Hear the Celtic legends surrounding the ancient burial tombs, or dolmens. We visit Galway, Ireland’s cultural capital and festival city before returning to Dublin’s Fair City
Accommodation is guaranteed on all trips. We reserve the beds and you pay as you go. The price is between €18 and €20 per person per night in shared dorms.
What type of accommodation do you use
Unlike others, we are not tied exclusively to any hostel chain, so are free to select the very best hostels. We choose places packed full of character and only use quality independent and Youth Hostel Association hostels. We guarantee dorm bed accommodation on all our tours.
Are double/twin rooms available
Some of the hostels we use do have private (double/twin) rooms but these are limited and dependent on availability. Hostel private rooms cost approximately Euro 25 - 40 per person per night
We can also make B&B bookings. These are again dependent on availability and the price is around Euro 40 – 60 per person per night. Any B&B bookings made must be honoured and credit card details will be required.
Is a sleeping bag required. A sleeping bag is not required as all hostels provide linen but it is a good idea to bring a towel

Will there be people travelling on their own
Whilst we regularly get couples and friends travelling together, every tour has loads of people travelling on their own and down to our style of travel, you'll get to know everyone soon enough
