You’ll visit 8 countries throughout Northern Europe including: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany. Our most comprehensive tour of Northern Europe, the Scandanavia and Russia tour will take you to amazing sites such as the stunning fjords of Norway, St. Basils Cathedral in Moscow, and the remains of the Berlin Wall in Germany.

Russia TourDay 1 - Arrive Copenhagen
After checking into your youth hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure. Join your Tour Manager and fellow travellers for an important meeting at 6pm followed by an included dinner. Youth Hotel (D)

Day 2 - Copenhagen Sightseeing
Our sightseeing tour includes Copenhagen's famous sights like the Geffion Fountain, the Royal Palace and the Little Mermaid. Perhaps a visit to the Carlsberg Brewery this morning. Youth Hotel (B)

Day 3 - Copenhagen to Stockholm
After a short ferry crossing, we arrive in Sweden and head north to Stockholm, Sweden's capital city. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 4 - Stockholm Sightseeing
Today an orientation tour including the Royal Palace and Old Town. In your free time you can visit the 17th Century warship "The Vasa". Tonight why not explore the cobbled streets and sample the local fare. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B)

Day 5 - Stockholm to Oslo
Our route today takes us through Sweden and across the Norwegian border to the capital city Oslo. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 6 - Oslo Sightseeing
A whole day to enjoy the many sights. A chance to visit the Kontiki Museum with its amazing raft and see the Gustav Vigeland sculptures in Frogner Park. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B)

Day 7 - Oslo to Andalsnes
On to Lillehammer, host town for the 1994 Winter Olympics, and perhaps a chance to try the bobsled run? We then follow a picturesque route past lakes, waterfalls and mountains to our beautifully situated campsite. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 8 - Andalsnes Sightseeing
Don’t leave your camera behind as today we follow the "Trolls Road’ past the Stigfoss Falls and up the mountain for fabulous views of the glacial valley below. Why not join us on an optional fjord cruise, past some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world, it's an experience you’ll never forget. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 9 - Andalsnes to Trondheim
On to Trondheim, the former capital of Norway, an ancient town where much of the original wooden architecture still remains. See the Kristiansten Fortress and perhaps enjoy a chance to go for pizza and ten-pin bowling. Youth Hotel (B)

Day 10 - Trondheim to Mo I Rana
We journey to ‘Hell’ today, before taking in more of Norway’s stunning beauty as we travel past spectacular scenery to Mo I Rana for two nights. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 11 - Mo I Rana Sightseeing
A chance to visit the Svartisen glacier (Norway’s second largest), subject to weather conditions. This afternoon we visit the Arctic Circle Centre for our first glimpse of northern Scandinavia. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 12 - Mo I Rana to Ramfjord
Today, we cross the Arctic Circle to Narvik, a bustling port completely rebuilt after World War II. Our campsite tonight is situated by the water. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 13 - Ramfjord to Hammerfest
On to our northern-most point, the ‘Land of the Midnight Sun’, crossing some of the most famous salmon fishing grounds in the world. This evening why not visit Nord Kapp, the Northernmost point of Europe? Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 14 - Hammerfest at Leisure
After a relaxing morning, why not check out the local town. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 15 - Hammerfest to Rovaniemi
We leave the mountains of Norway to travel south through the lakes and forests of Finland. Cross back over the Arctic Circle to Rovaniemi, the traditional home of Santa Claus. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 16 - Rovaniemi to Keuruu
First a visit to Santa’s house before we head further south to Keuruu. Perhaps a game of volleyball or a sauna at our lakeside camp. Cabin/Hotel, depending on time of year (B,D)

Day 17 - Keuruu to Helsinki
We continue southwards to Helsinki, Finland’s capital. Our sightseeing tour takes in the Olympic Stadium, the massive underground church and Sibelius Park, a memorial to Finland’s greatest composer in the ‘White City of the North’. Youth Hotel (B)

Day 18 - Helsinki to St. Petersburg
An early start this morning as we head to Russia. Stopping en-route at Vyborg - your first taste of old-style Russia, we continue to our hotel in St. Petersburg. Hotel (B,D)

Day 19 - St. Petersburg Sightseeing
Plenty of time in St Petersburg to get acquainted with the fascinating history and way of life. Our sightseeing tour includes the great Winter Palace, the incredible Hermitage Museum; visit Petrodvorets with its palaces, parks and fountains. And for a taste of local flavour, anyone for caviar and a vodka chaser? Hotel (B)

Day 20 - St. Petersburg Sightseeing

Day 21 - St. Petersburg to Novgorod
We leave the ‘Cradle of the Revolution’ and journey past collective farmland to Novgorod, which when translated means ‘New Town’ . This afternoon, a guided tour of the town and its famous church and millenium bell. Hotel (B,D)

Day 22 - Novogorod to Moscow
Past Klin where Tchaikovsky lived, then a short drive to Moscow where we enjoy a first glance at the city sights, including Red Square. Hotel (B,D)

Day 23 - Moscow Sightseeing
Two days to explore this fascinating city. Our sightseeing tour includes the Kremlin, the onion domes of St Basil’s, Red Square and the GUM Store. There’s even the opportunity to travel on the Moscow underground! Hotel (B)

Day 24 - Moscow Sightseeing

Day 25 - Moscow to Yartsevo
From Moscow, we continue to Smolensk - visit "Borodino" on the Dnieper that became the strategic key to Moscow in 1812 and 1941. Later we arrive at our overnight hotel in Yartsevo. Hotel (B,D)

Day 26 - Yartsevo to Minsk
A visit to Smolensk on our way to Minsk, the capital of Belarus, where we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of this former Soviet stronghold. Hotel (B,D)

Day 27 - Minsk to Warsaw
This morning we travel through Brest, the first Soviet city destroyed in World War II, before crossing the Polish border for two nights at our hotel in Warsaw. Hotel (B,D)

Day 28 - Warsaw Sightseeing
Warsaw, the rebuilt capital of Poland, and home of Chopin, features many tributes to her turbulent history, not least the Ghetto Heroes monument. See it all on our sightseeing tour. Wander through the old city and Chopin’s park. A chance to do your own thing tonight and try the local fare. Hotel (B)

Day 29 - Warsaw to Berlin
Our drive today passes through the Polish-German border to the cultural capital of Germany, Berlin. Upon arrival we’ll see the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the Russian Memorial. Hotel (B)

Day 30 - Berlin Sightseeing
Time to explore this lively city where East and West once met. A "must see" is "Checkpoint Charlie" and other famous sites. Also a chance to enjoy the exciting nightlife. Hotel (B,D)

Day 31 - Berlin to Copenhagen
We travel across Germany for our final night in Copenhagen. Why not join your crew for a last night farewell dinner?. Youth Hotel (B)

Day 32 - Copenhagen
