Tanzania SafariDay 1: Welcome to Nairobi! We’ll be there to collect you at Nairobi Airport. Your first night will be spent at our pre-safari hotel in the centre of town.

Day 2: Nairobi - Namanga
Striking south from Nairobi, we travel to Namanga on the border and relax at our overnight stay.
Overnight - campsite (Lunch and dinner)

Days 3- 6: Namanga - Arusha
Crossing the border, we enter neighbouring Tanzania. Tanzania is without doubt one of the most exciting countries in the world. Boasting a dozen prime game parks under conservation protection, some of the most awesome scenery, fantastic tropical beaches, the exotic Arabian spice island of Zanzibar, friendly people and snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro - the highest peak in Africa, it’s a country you’ll enjoy. (All meals)

Our destination is Arusha. Sitting at the base of verdant Mt Meru, Arusha is a bustling, vibrant town. Known as the safari gateway to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, the town’s streets are filled with all-terrain game viewing vehicles. Maasai warriors stroll around attending to their business attired in distinctive regalia stroll around, whilst tourists in crisp khaki twin sets roam the town for curios, cool drinks and regale tall game-filled stories! From here, we undertake a 3 day safari in smaller all-terrain vehicles to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area. The Serengeti is from where the wildebeest migration to the Mara originates. At many times of the year, vast numbers of these ungainly beasts graze upon succulent pasture - the hunted in eager view of the hunters. The Serengeti is host to a wide variety of game including - elephant, giraffe, zebra, hyena, African wild dog, lion, cheetah, leopard, and an dizzying array of hooved beasts. While on safari, an amazing experience is viewing Ngorongoro crater for the first time. As your vehicle slowly ascends through mountain forests you will feel it getting cooler. Eventually you reach the rim, and dropping sharply off in front of you is Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the best self-contained safari destination in the world. Often referred to as the ‘Garden of Eden’, the rich pasture and permanent water of the crater floor shelters a large population of animals. This is the site of a deep volcanic crater and the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Overnight (4) - campsite. (All meals and game drives)
